and Straight people too! We believe in the priesthood of all believers and welcomes everyone who believes that God 's love is universal and unconditional. We are a non-converting, sex-positive, non-judgemental, inclussive and safe sanctuary for all of God's children.
We are a church for ALL because God loves us for who we are!

The Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) in Baguio City, Philippines was established on January 30, 2009 under the guidance of the MCC-Quezon City. It is a growing community of dedicated workers who believes that God's love and compassion knows no gender nor sexual orientation.

Also known internationally as the UNIVERSAL FELLOWSHIP OF METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY CHURCHES (UFMCC), it led in the Christian sexual minority's struggle for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) rights and equality. Founded by Rev. Troy Perry in 1968 with 12 people gathered for a worship service at his living room in California, the MCC today has grown to 43,000 members and advocates in almost 300 congregations in 22 countries.

The MCC in the Philippines was established by Rev. Fr. Richard Mickley in 1991. MCC-Manila (now MCC Philippines) was the first LGBT Church established in the Asia region and instrumental in leading the first LGBT Pride parade in Asia. Today, MCC has 4 congregation in the Philippines: Makati City, Quezon City, Baguio City and Dasmarinas. Over the years, the MCC's prophetic witness has forever changed the face of Christendom, ministering and bringing the Good News of God's immeasurable and unconditional love to the queer community everywhere.

WE BELIEVE

In One true God..omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient; of one substance and of three persons; God our Parent-Creator; Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, God in flesh, human; and the Holy Spirit, God as our sustainer

We believe that Jesus Christ, historically recorder as living some 2000 years before this writing.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, of human birth, fully God and fully human; and that being one with God, Jesus demonstrate once and forever that all people are likewise Children of God, being spiritually made in God’s image.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God.

Making known God’s love and interest to all people. The Holy Spirit is God, available to and working through all who are willing to place their welfare in God’s keeping.

We believe that every person is justified by grace to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that we are saved...

from loneliness, despair and degradation through God’s gift of grace, as was declared by our Savior. Such grace is not earned , but is a pure gift from God of pure love. We further commend the community of the faithful to a life of prayer, to seek genuine forgiveness for unkind, thoughtless and unloving acts, and to a committed life of Christian service.

We believe that the church serves to bring all people to God through Christ.

To this end, it shall arrange for regular services of worship, prayer, interpretation of the Scriptures, and edification through the teaching and preaching of the Word.
